Lord of the Flies

are there any current situations in the world that relate to the novel? what are they, and how do they relate? does the novel shed any light on how current situations could be resolved or "fixed"? Yes, I think there are some of current situations in the world that is like situation like in the novel. In our world, there are all kind of people. People who follow the laws, help other people, and tries to make a peaceful world. Also, there are people who does not fallow the law, who wants power, being selfish and disturb others for what they need. People murdering other people and get what they need is one great example that is exist in our current world society. Even though murdering is against the law in every countries, still there are lots of people who do not fallow the law and murdering people for their benefits. But the problem is that for most of the people, after they murders someone, they feel regret about it. Which means people does not think deeply and just do as what they think. This situation is related to the novel because Jack's group murders Ralph's group without thinking deeply just for their benefits. In this novel, I do not think it shows how to fix the situation. The reason why I think this book does not show how to fix the problem is because at first, they were not able to make peaceful community by them selves and they were out of control before the adults come to rescue the kids. But they all had been rescued by the adults because the adults saw the smoke and come to rescue them. But the greater problem was that they were taking to the greater wars. Which means there is no hopes.
