who are the main characters in the novel? do you like them? why or why not? what is special about them? what do they reveal about the universal human experience?
In this novel, I think there are more than one main characters. First, Ralph is the one of the main characters. I am not sure whether I like this character or not because even though this character is the protagonist in this novel, he does not do many things so I am not sure whether I like this character or not. Special thing about him is that even though his enemy, Jack's group, against them with violent, Ralph does not use violent to against them, but wants to solve problem with talk and be peaceful. Ralph reveals the people who do not wants violent and wants to solve problems with make agreement with others. Second, Jack is the character who conflicts with Ralph because of the different opinions. I do not like this character, Jack, because I think that he is too violent, selfish and like the communist government nowadays. Doing things with out any agreement of others. Special thing about Jack is that he wants to have power to rule the kids, kills, beats and disturb others for his own benefit. Jack reveals people who wants violent and do not fallow the rules even though there is the rules. One another character that I think is the main character is Piggy. I like piggy because he is the smartest boy on the island. Special thing about Piggy is that his glasses represent a very important thing in the novel because it is the only way that boys on the island can stat the fire. Piggy reveals people who are innocent and people who gets damage for doing nothing wrong.
